Topic Choice - Yearbook Design

I've been on a yearbook staff since I was in the seventh grade and I've been on "The Globe" (iPoly yearbook) staff since my freshman year. I have a clear passion for journalism and graphic design which is why I chose to do "yearbook design" as a senior topic. Creating the yearbook has always been one of the highlights of my year and it is something that I take great pride and pleasure in doing. Another reason why I chose this topic is because I am this year's editor-in-chief and I knew that I would be able to use all the hours I spent on the yearbook for my independent tasks. I hope to turn my knowledge of working on a publication staff into a career, hence the fact that my dream job is to be an editor at some sort of political publication someday.
